All of CareerQuest’s services are delivered by highly qualified and experienced staff:

Training of English as a second language is delivered by TESL certified instructors. Many of our academic instructors possess a B.Ed. or masters degree; all others possess a B.A. or B.Sc. and are assigned according to their area of specialization where necessary.

Physical Assessments such as the Functional Abilities Evaluation and Worksite Analysis are conducted by a kinesiologist certified by the Ontario Kinesiology Association who is also a Certified Work Capacity Evaluator.

Vocational Assessments are conducted by a psychometrist certified by the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP).

Qualified staff members administer a comprehensive battery of standardized academic tests to develop curriculum and monitor progress throughout academic programs. These tests include, but are not limited to:

• Wide Range Achievement Test (WRAT-3) • Weschler Individual Achievement Test (WIAT-II) • Gates-MacGinitie Reading Test • Canadian Adult Achievement Test (CAAT) • Basic English Skills Test (BEST) • Mann-Suiter Spelling Inventory • Slosson Oral Reading Test (SORT)

We are able to work effectively with clients dealing with learning disabilities and other barriers to learning due to the training and experience of our instructional and supervisory staff.
