Job Search Training Program
CareerQuest's 4-week job search training program (JSTP) delivers all of the essential skills needed to secure long-team employment.
The program is comprised of the following topics:
• Résumé Development • Cover Letters • Job Search Correspondence • Networking • Hidden Job Market • Interview Techniques • Illegal Interview Questions	• Transferable Skills • Internet Job Boards • Directories and Resources • Telephone Contacts • Following up • Documentation of Leads • Application Forms
All participants in the program complete a questionnaire that identifies their technical and performance skills, as well as their personality traits and values. This information is used to customize the client’s resume and cover letter and direct the job search towards the most suitable opportunities.
Our clients are also empowered to succeed in their job searches in a number of other ways:
• They are given access to private databases containing contact information for over 50,000 • employers. • They receive training in time management and organization for the job search process. • CareerQuest’s employment services staff provide them with employment leads. • They complete a job search action plan detailing the initial steps to be taken.
