As a key resource for newly trained and retrained individuals, we represent countless new and qualified job-seekers. Through our continually expanding partnerships with referral agencies across Ontario and abroad, we are able to offer you, the employer, a large selection of available candidates, and we are ready to respond quickly to your most immediate staffing needs.
When you need to fill a position in your company, we scan our database to find all suitable matches. Then, we review the qualifications of each prospective candidate and interview the most qualified prospects to ensure they meet your needs! Your only job is to meet the candidates we have recommended and approve them to start work.
Our responsibility to you and your new employee doesn't end when you hire them. For a period of up to 12 weeks, we will provide a variety of support, including training and job coaching to ensure a successful start to a long and prosperous working relationship.
Our Candidates fall into one of two categories
The fist category comprises candidates who possess basic, transferable skills, but require a period of training on-the-job. During this period, which ranges 4-26 weeks in length, you are not required to pay the candidate and it is for the express purpose of training your new employee for the targeted job. A qualified representative of CareerQuest will work with you and your new employee in providing training and coaching throughout the approved unpaid period.
The second category comprises candidates who possess formal education and/or work experience in the targeted job. in this case, they may be available for an unpaid period of up to 4 weeks to receive standard training prior to commencing permanent. paid employment with your organization.
When you hire one of our candidates, we can offer you one of our training or assessment services at a discounted rate, or for free. Incentives can include a free Ergonomic Assessment, or some literacy or computer skills upgrading at any one of our locations across the GTA. We'll be happy to help you determine which of our numerous incentives is right for you.
