Speech Recognition Software

CareerQuest also provides training in the use of several computer applications targeted to individuals with special needs: Dragon NaturallySpeaking speech-recognition software for individuals who must limit keyboard use due to hand or arm impairments; ZoomText, JAWS, and Kurzweil 3000 software for individuals with visual impairments; and a unimanual keyboarding program for individuals who are limited to using one hand to operate the keyboard.

CareerQuest’s computer workstations feature state-of-the-art equipment and we provide a comprehensive list of computer accommodations to ensure all participants in our programs are comfortable throughout their training:

Individualized training programs for all of the applications listed above are offered on a continuous intake basis with program schedules customized to meet each client’s needs.
