
Canadian Adult Education Credential
On May 3, 2024, the new Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) replaced the General Education Development (GED®) high school equivalency assessment. This new credential is a high-quality, made-in-Canada education credential that meets industry standards. Our CAEC Preparation Program is approximately 10-12 weeks. An initial academic assessment is required to help determine how many weeks of training each applicant would require. All associated study materials are provided.

To be eligible to write the CAEC examination, the candidate must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have not graduated from high school
- Have been out of the school system for at least one full year
- Be a resident of Ontario for a minimum of 6 months
- You are not currently registered with an Ontario public, Catholic, or private high school
The CAEC Preparation Program is available on a continuous intake basis with program schedules customized to meet each client’s needs.
